When storms comes in our lives, if we are not built on a solid foundation, we will not handle the pressure well and will be defeated, totally devastated, and completely destroyed.  If we are built in the Word of God, we will not be defeated or destroyed.  We might have some roof repair or need to replace a window, but we will not be destroyed.   Obedience to Christ will produce a stable foundation that does not give way when the storms of life come.
