2025 MLK Keep the Dream Alive March is on Saturday, February 1, 2025. In a collaborative effort, please join Pilgrim Baptist Church, Salem Baptist Church, Moving People to Action (MP2Action), and the NAACP. Not to mention, Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. and Cox. Not only, but also North End Teleservices, LLC, Stable Gray, The BOSS 95.7 FM Radio, and Omaha Star. Additionally, Urban League of Nebraska, North Omaha Visitors Center, Great Plains Black History Museum, PerknItUp, Omaha Police Department, and Lions Gate Security. The honorary event chair is TBA.
Furthermore, the 2025 Martin Luther King, Jr. Keep the Dream Alive March will begin at 10:30 AM on the corner of 24th and Lake Street. The location is the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument site. Without delay, the community participants will march to Salem Baptist Church located at 3131 Lake Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68111 to end the march. The community gathering event will begin at 11:30 AM at Salem Baptist Church.
Where can I find information to learn more about Martin Luther King, Jr.? What year did Martin Luther King Jr. Day become a United States federal holiday? The first celebration was in 1986. As a matter of fact, let us always remember Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. he was a son, brother, husband, father, friend, and a Nobel Peace Prize winner. The name of his famous speech is I Have a Dream. Join us for this first time ever event in Omaha, Nebraska. More importantly volunteer your time to help within the community.
