Pilgrim Baptist Church will celebrate their 103rd Church Anniversary. The event was to take place on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Due to COVID-19 the service was celebrated on Sunday, November 14, 2020 with a combined annual day celebration. The theme is “20/20 Vision Focus on Christ”. Thus, the scripture is Hebrews 12:2.

Church Anniversary is a special time when the church can reflect on special moments throughout the history of the church. Current members, former members, family members, and individuals from the community will come to our church services. There has been a vast array of changes inside and outside the church walls. The song selections are specific to this day along with the sermon topic title. The members will share their stories pertaining to the changes in the sanctuary, the basement, their memories, and members who are no longer with us.

Pilgrim has experienced many challenges during our 103 years of existence.  Our faith has been tested and we have learned to trust in Jesus. We have come this far by faith!
