Pilgrim Baptist Church will recognize the children and youth for the 2021-2022 school year. The Children / Youth Recognition is on Sunday, June 12, 2022. The recognition will be during morning worship service at 9:00 AM. The key focus plays a part in enhancing the children and youth lives through Jesus Christ. Pilgrim’s vision is to ensure children and youth grow up safe, healthy, thrive spiritually, emotionally, and academically. During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we are prayerfully continuing to take measures to help keep our members and friends of Pilgrim safe. The sanctuary per the CDC guidelines will be setup for social distancing. Thus, the service will be in the sanctuary.
What is Children / Youth Recognition? Children / Youth Recognition is our appreciation and gratitude to God’s children. As a result, this day is for our elementary, middle school, and high school students. The recognition is an acknowledgment what God can do in the lives of His children.
Therefore, recognition will be a time to celebrate great accomplishments and achievements in the classroom and the community. However, the recognition is a mere communication tool. It displays the outcome a goal of what someone has done that is special. Due to COVID-19 there may be a few indoor events with limited space requirements. The church will continue to uplift, encourage, recognize, and pray for our children and youth. Together we win in the Lord’s eye.
