The Christian life is a building process and it doesn’t happen overnight.  We need to keep adding new spiritual characteristics to our lives. The Word of God teaches us in 2 Peter 1:5-7 the things to add to the foundation that has been laid by Christ to help us in building a beautiful building are:

 

Virtue – excellence in moral character

Temperance

Knowledge

Patience

Godliness

Brotherly kindness

Most of all Charity (LOVE)
